Blue Water Hunter - Education

Converting a European Wishbone

This demonstration will show how to modify a European style wishbone to an American style line/soft wishbone for the purpose of using after market non-grooved spear shafts.

The first thing that needs to be done is to remove the attached metal from the threaded nylon sleeve. Use Dacron or other suitable line cut to approx. 7-8" in length and knot it on one side.

From larger, open side of one nylon sleeve, slide Dacron line up through existing hole to top of second nylon sleeve and pull through.

Secure second knot and pull nylon sleeves to test!
