The Instinct speargun series is the result of years of research and testing, both in the laboratory and at sea, and fully reflects Sporasub's extensive experience in the design of high performance spearfishing equipment. Each individual component, down to the smallest detail, has been carefully designed and tested to produce a weapon that is lightweight, maneuverable, accurate and reliable to satisfy even the most demanding spear-fisherman.

The Instinct handle

Ergonomic, with a rubber covering that ensures a secure and comfortable grip. Suitable for right and left handed use, and for all sizes and types of hands. Constructed from extra-heavy duty reinforced engineering polymers.The loading pad can be easily removed and replaced with a more compact pad. Two options for attaching the shooting line, either above or below the handle. New patented line-releaser, extremely sensitive, with side release. New patented safety mechanism. Operated using the same finger that pulls the trigger. Eliminates the risk of firing with the safety engaged.

The trigger mechanism

Constructed entirely from stainless steel, its high-precision, simple and extremely sensitive movement ensures exceptional shooting accuracy.

New muzzle

New patented system makes it possible to use either double bands or circular loop bands. The position of the bands ensures high firing accuracy, and the point of attachment on the muzzle considerably reduces bending stresses on the barrel. The system also allows for quick and secure assembly of circular loop bands. It is possible to add washers inside the muzzle, for fine adjustment of buoyancy. The open bridge at the top affords an unimpeded view of the shaft, for greater ease of aiming.

Shaft track

The Instinct speargun is equipped with special shaft track inserts that afford superior accuracy, with very low hydrodynamic resistance.

"Power Sling" bands

Years of testing and research have led to the selection of these powerbands, which afford decidedly superior performance. The most important fearture of these bands, alongside their durability and high specific power, is that they retain their loading power constant over time. In fact, many of the bands on the market are subject to a reduction in power after even brief periods of use, or when the band is kept stretched for many hours without firing. "Power sling" bands, on the other hand, retain their full loading power over time.

New sealing system

The water tightness of speargun barrels has often caused a few problems. Different manufacturers have tried various solutions, but with results that are not always satisfactory, especially in terms of ease of maintenance.

The new (patented) Sporasub sealing system brilliantly solves all these problems with an O-ring that is protected from damage during assembly, because it is mounted on a movable seat that only goes into the working position after its insertion.

Instinct reel

Finally, a reel that is rugged, simple, easy to use and, most importantly, reliable. Constructed from reinforced engineering polymers, to retain its full strength over time. The all-new (patented) tensioning system permits quick and easy adjustments, without having to move the hand from the speargun handle.
