Blue Water Hunter Slip Tip

We have developed an inexpensive slim line 5" x 5/16" x 6mm thread slip tip with a small barb near the tip for use with the thinner, more streamline designed blue water set-ups and applications. When used with a 9/32" or 5/16" shaft it will cause less drop at distance. Also due to the design of the adapter-to-tip there is very little wobble to achieve best accuracy. The tri-cut style tip will penetrate tough skin or cut through bone and the small barb near the tip will allow the tip to toggle with minimal penetration.

This Custom 3" x 5/16" Tri-Cut Slip Tip is a great alternative to the expensive Slip Tips on the market today. This tip was developed for in-close Grouper and Ulua situations where a strong fighting fish can easily bend or break a spear shaft when fighting against the reef and rocks. However this tip is a proven winner for Blue Water game as well. Many 40-50 lb. Mahi Mahi and Ono have been taken with this tip! The short three (3) inch tip will allow toggling even if the fish is against the reef wall, but creates enough surface area to securely hold the strongest fighting fish. The tip slips inside the unique "female" adapter for great stability and is one of the strongest and most secure adapters on the market today. The adapter itself has a small hole in the bottom which eliminates any possibility of suction as the tip is released.
